  • Weigh about 12.0 kg (girl) or about 12.6 kg (boy)
  • Be about 86 cm in height (girl) or about 87 cm in height (boy)
     

Motor Development of 24 month old child

  • Walk well, going from heel to toe like adults
  • Throw a small ball
  • Climb up stairs, assisted and with 2 feet to a step; creep down stairs backwards or scooting on her bottom
  • Build a tower of 6 or 7 blocks
  • Scribble in circles as well as back and forth
  • Draw a vertical line on paper with crayon
     

Social and Emotional Development of 24 month old child

  • Be able to do more things on her own
  • Feature "pretend" games more prominently in play
  • Be very possessive and not ready to share toys
  • Demand a lot of her caregiver's attention
