16 Month Old Milestones

Month 16

“Come here and I’ll give you hugs and kisses”

Watch I’m taking my first steps without help

I can squat to pick something up

I can drink from a spouted or open cup

Play time is fun - I can build three blocks

Hand over the crayons and watch me scribble

I love to play and will resist my nap if engaged in a desired activity

My favourite blanket or stued animal helps me to self-comfort

Oh no I really don’t seem to like things like loud noises or bath timed

I am messy! I throw toys here and there, sorry for that mess

Come here and I'll give you hugs and kisses

I love showing you what I know

I am fond of a few books which are familiar and favourite to me

I can now fill the laundry basket by myself

I can judge other things and their use
