  • Weigh about 13.8 kg (girl) or about 14.3 kg (boy)
  • Be about 95 cm in height (girl) or about 96 cm in height (boy)
     

Motor Development of 36 month old child

  • Be able to stand for a short time on one foot
  • Throw and kick balls reasonably well
  • Be able to handle a fork
  • Thread large beads
  • Hold a pencil between thumb and first 2 fingers
  • Paint with a large brush
     

Social and Emotional Development of 36 month old child

  • Be less likely to have tantrums
  • Be more willing to follow your instructions
  • Have 1 or 2 special friends
  • Say "please" or "thank you" when appropriate
